WHITE SAUCE PASTA

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup whole wheat pasta

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic

  • 1/2 cup onion

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • 1 tablespoon flour of choice (preferably wheat flour)

  • 1 Amul cheese cube

  • 1 teaspoon oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri paprika/red chilli flakes

  • 1/2 cup water

  • Salt to taste


INSTRUCTIONS:

To make white sauce pasta:

  1. Boil the whole wheat pasta.

  2. In another pan, add olive oil and garlic and sautée.

  3. Add onions and continue to sautée.

  4. Add flour and stir the mixture until brown.

  5. Add milk and constantly stir for 1 minute.

  6. Add water and stir for another minute.

  7. Add oregano, chill flakes and salt to taste.

  8. Mix in the pasta and top it with cheese.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
