The ships afloat,
The Romans aboard,
The Greeks defend,
While the Romans invade their abode
Athens is besieged,
By a Roman fleet,
But brave Theseus pays no heed,
In the hot, summer heat
Caesar himself in purple robes,
Draws a sword to charge,
The marching band plays fiery notes,
As the Greeks defend the Roman barrage
They battle till night,
The Greeks outmanned,
But Theseus won’t go without giving them a good fight!
But his tired soldiers know that on the edge of the cliff, they stand
Dawn arrives,
The armies awake,
For the Greeks, they know that today, the earth they leave
While for Caesar, it is a piece of cake
They slash and shout,
And shriek and howl,
In the end only Theseus about
The Romans play with him as if he is a Fowl
But in the end, no one dare approach,
For he is death himself,
Caesar shouts but the men daren’t poach,
Such a gallant warrior as Theseus himself
They shoot with arrows from afar,
And catapults filled with stone,
Just like the cowards they are,
And after a hundred arrows and seventeen stones
The Romans, they stand alone!
