In every sense , Mr. Mansuri is a dedicated and committed teacher due to his love for the profession and the role models that he has had. He respects the subject matter and the noble profession but more so the art of teaching and the discipline around it crediting his mother and Mr Sharma, his Tenth-grade geography teacher. He shows enthusiasm towards contact with students, shown by his compassionate efforts to solve their problems and adjust himself to their needs. In the end, Mr. Mansuri seeks to provide his students with the effective understanding of knowledge, so that they take away valuable lessons from his class which will benefit them throughout their life.

1. What inspired you to pursue teaching?

What inspired me to pursue teaching were two significant influences: my appreciation for the noble profession and my mother. My mother was my biggest inspiration and the nobility of the profession influenced me to pursue it.

2. Who was your favorite teacher or mentor and how did they influence you

My grade ten class teacher Mr. Sharma, who used to teach geography, was my

favorite teacher growing up. I learnt from him many valuable lessons about the discipline of life through his way of teaching geography and was particularly inspired by the precision with which he made markings on the maps and how quickly and effectively he used to teach us in a way where we never had to by heart anything. The content and the methods of teaching was a big inspiration for me to become a quality teacher.

3. What is your favorite aspect of teaching ?

Apart from my love towards accounts as a subject, the interaction with students,

especially the personal touch when they seek my help to solve the individual

problems they’re facing, inspired me to take the subject in a different manner for

each student.

4. What is one thing you wish all students would take away from your class?

Knowledge. It is powerful and I believe it is essential for them to have a solid

understanding of the subject.
