Not only does Mr. Pandey have a profound interest in physics but also about the importance of teaching and it’s impact on people's lives. He extends the passion beyond theoretical aspects of the subject, as he enjoys the experiments and practical work of physics, which he loves teaching to his students. Following the path of his mother, who was his first teacher, he regards education as a powerful tool of transformation and seeks to teach in order to change. Most importantly, he instills in his students the spirit of determination to face any situation without running away and never giving up.
1. What inspired you to pursue teaching?
For me teaching is a very important task, it is the most important role. I didn’t want
to repeat the cycle again and again , I wanted to create a change within the system
and that’s what inspired me to become a teacher.
2. Who was your favorite teacher or mentor and how did they influence you?
I strongly believe that teaching always starts at your home. My mother was a big inspiration for me. She was my first mentor and she taught me how to teach, how to learn and how to change. Her approach to the subject as well as life was an inspiration to me, making her my best mentor.
3. Which aspect of teaching do you enjoy the most?
Being able to teach physics everyday is definitely the highlight and the experimentation and practical applications of the subject is what I enjoy the most as they bring concepts to life.
4. What is one thing that you wish all your students would take away from your
class?
The most important lesson I want my students to remember is to never give up, no
matter the challenge.
